Report Inappropriate Comments

Thank you Bob Cushman for your expert analysis which completely debunks the Daydreamers claim. In particular, your numbers also support another claim that I have made publicly for quite some time.

As you are aware we have both been heckled for making statements that in the contract years of the no wage increase (2013-15), there was manipulation of overtime that took place particularly within the fire department. I received from the city, a list of each firefighter that was on the unused sick pay report. I was given their base salary and their year end wage for each of those 3 years. There were 114 men on the report and all but one man showed a significant increase in wage in each of the 3 years. Some as much as $40,000 increase in each year.

It was very clear and obvious that there was sicktime/overtime manipulation and you will note that this was the time period where the 3 schemes that have recently been made public, were put into effect.

So the Daydreamer can make all of the unsubstantiated claims that he wishes (without substantiation) but the numbers and the departments nefarious behavior tells a much different story.

I am wondering why the department has not released any of the numbers that have been produced by the unions own accounting firm Ward Fisher? Maybe it is because they like me so much that they don't feel it would be appropriate to prove me wrong? Maybe they just want to keep the findings all to themselves because they feel it would be inappropriate to defend themselves? Or maybe their own CPA firm will produce a report which indicates that we have had a bunch of lying stealing conniving selfish stealing dirt bags running this department and stealing from our children for many many years.
