Paula J. Wyatt, age 81, died peacefully on January 25, 2024, at Loudonville Assisted Living Residence, with her loving family by her side. Paula was born on November 13, 1942, in Providence, RI and was the daughter of the late James and Mary (Fenlan) Carroll.
After high school, Paula spent a long and enjoyable career as a clerk with the Lakewood Hay and Grain. She met her first husband, the late Robert, and the two were wed on December 23, 1985. After his passing, Paula reunited with her lifelong friend, Otis Wyatt, and the two were wed on June 9, 2013, and retired to Palmetto, Florida.
Paula is survived by her husband Otis C. Wyatt, Jr.; her stepchildren Robert (Linda) Wyatt, Randall (Sandra) Wyatt, and Russell (Scott Snapper) Wyatt; her daughter-in-law Lynet Gaia Wyatt; her step-grandchildren Chase Wyatt, Austin Wyatt, Robert (Emily) Wyatt, Jr., Michael Wyatt, Kristin Wyatt, and Laura Wyatt (Nicholas Traini); her brother Barry (Pam) Carroll; her sister Martha (Arthur) Riley; and her several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Paula is preceded in death by her first husband Robert H. Spencer, her brother David Carroll, and her stepson Richard Wyatt.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Friday, February 2, 2024, from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM, at Barrett and Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Ave., Warwick, RI.
A Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 AM, at the funeral home.
Interment will be held at Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter, RI.
