Nominations are being sought for 2019 YWCA Woman of Achievement recognition awards.
The nomination form is available until 5 p.m. on Friday, March 29. All nominations will be forwarded to a Selection Committee.
Criteria focus on women who provide direct service to, collaborate with, and advocate on behalf of the most structurally disenfranchised people in our society, and who have a deep and abiding commitment to working on issues of economic, gender and racial justice. Nominees must also live or work in Rhode Island.
YWCA Rhode Island’s Women of Achievement Awards are recognized nationally, and bring attention to the accomplishments of women in industry, culture and public service in local communities.
