The New England Institute of Technology (NEIT is offering FANUC certifications to students enrolled in NEIT's Mechanical Engineering Technology and Electronics, Robotics and Drone Technology programs.
The FANUC America Corporation, headquartered in Rochester Hills, Michigan, is the leading supplier of robots, CNC systems and factory automation. Certification represents proficiency in the operation and programming of FANUC robots, which are used worldwide in a wide range of industries. This certification will set NEIT graduates apart when seeking employment in the fields of manufacturing, engineering, electronics and robotics to name a few.
In addition, New England Tech's Electronics, Robotics and Drones Technology program offers students the opportunity to prepare for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Section 107 Commercial Small Unmanned Aerial System (SUAS) exam for pilot certification. Students explore the commercial use and training required to become commercial drone/unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) pilots using simulators as well as flying actual drones. Students who meet FAA standards are eligible to sit for the FAA Section 107 drone pilot certification exam. Recently, there was a 100 percent pass rate for those NEIT students who took the federal exam and are now FAA certified remote pilots in command of a drone/UAV.
For more information regarding these programs as well as FANUC certification and FAA license requirements, contact the Admissions Office at 800-736-7744 or by email at NEITAdmissions@neit.edu. You may visit www.neit.edu for complete program descriptions.
