Albert O. Anctil

Albert O. Anctil, 94, of Coventry passed away peacefully on Monday, October 12, 2020 at West View Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in West Warwick. He was the beloved husband of the late Margaret E. (Valentine) Anctil.

Born in West Warwick on December 2, 1925 to the late Isidore and Julie (Girard) Anctil, he resided in Coventry with his family. Albert was a self-employed general contractor for most of his life. He was a World War II Army veteran serving in the 271 ST Infantry Regiment. Upon returning home he became a member of the American Legions, VFW, and a life time member of the Combat Infantry Association and proudly displayed his “Blue Badge” on his attire.

Albert leaves two sons, Michael P. Anctil and his wife, Darlene of East Providence and Charles P. Anctil and his wife, Deborah of West Warwick; two daughters, Barbara M. Perra and her husband, Bruce of Warwick and Bernadette M. Bruneau and her husband, Paul of West Greenwich. He was also the loving “Grandad” to ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Irene Anctil, Colombe Langlais, Juliette Wolf, Gerard Anctil, Rev. Leo Anctil, Rita Tomassone, Norman Anctil, and Donat Anctil.
