Oh C’mon, councilman Rix. Spare us with the all too convenient excuses. Councilman Merolla used campaign cash to promote his private business. Whether it was paper money or a paper check makes no difference. There’s no two ways about it and whining about the photo the beacon used is a poor attempt at distracting from Mr. Merolla’s nefarious campaign financial dealings. And it’s readily apparent that you’re tightly linked to Mr Merolla as evidenced by your quick appearance here to dole out excuses for his bad behavior.
