Schools, staffing, and budgets were built for a world that won't exist for awhile. Those who genuinely care about kids are dong the best they can to grind through this. Others are using the virus as a political weapon to spread as much fear and disorder as possible, for as long as possible, while all but openly rooting for the virus. Meanwhile, the Secretary of Education and new Providence Superintendent (and probably Warwick supt.) are going to be confronted with an avalanche of data in the coming months indicating that kids have learned very little in the last year.
