Dear John,

As I stated, you have every right to express your opinions and concerns, I am only asking that you do so with a less threatening tone. I ask this after going into Wednesday evening worried about your posts that came across threatening. I do this as a very independent woman out of my own concern, I am not speaking for anyone else.

I am happy that Wednesday ended up being a beautiful event and well deserved ceremony. If things were different and there had not have been such aggressive posts, I would have been happy to give you the extra seat we paid for and did not use. This is how respectful acquaintanceship can work!
