The only good news out of this is that the Providence Police cut their losses with Johnny Sweat Pants many years ago. While they let him go on a phony disability, they realized he was a dirty cop and it was a lot easier to just give him the phony disability than to fire him and have the firing tied up in the court system for years. Let's just be happy that he no longer carries a badge and a gun.
