Report Inappropriate Comments

The Captain continues to outright lie. The firefighters conducted themselves with integrity during all of the meetings and even Councilman Ladouceur acknowledged that during his commentary. The fact is that The Captain and some of his cohorts continue to slander and libel members of WFD with unsubstantiated and frankly baseless claims. In fact, the call “see you in November!” clearly came from someone near to Cote, on his side, if it wasn’t actually him in the first place. I also hear he told Dan Yorke an outright lie and Councilman Merolla had to contact Dan and tell him Cote’s claims were untrue. Just like no one actually stood by the door and turned people away. Of course, an anonymous email is enough to get talk radio going and lend credence to this knowingly false story. He even went so far as to name and describe individuals in comments on this site, who clearly did nothing like he suggests. I think it’s high time The Captain face some slander and libel lawsuits. Doesn’t take an attorney to see claimants would have an excellent case. And let me be clear, it’s not because of the scrutiny, it’s because of the malicious lies told. Scrutiny is fine. Lies, slander and libel are not and it’s time he’s held accountable.
