"Airport traffic and operations will continue to grow."
That's great news for the RIAC but terrible news for the 80,000 Warwick taxpayers that are paying the tab. The newly expanded airport gave Warwick citizens air pollution, water pollution, soil pollution and noise pollution. Warwick is paying a high price for these airport services that the entire state is enjoying. Warwick deserves more money. Increase the PILOT. Complete the renovations they started on the affected homes and the RIAC will start becoming the neighbor we all want them to be. Mayor Solomon is to be applauded for meeting with them to get this agreement renegotiated.
