Jimmy, Thecaptain. The politicians are mostly to blame. Unions were and are needed by workers because of political abuses, but it has gotten to the point over the last several decades that the POLITICIANS and Unions have both teamed up against what is best for the taxpayer. The taxpayers are also to blame for being mostly stupid, uneducated, and not getting involved with local politics. All this combined has led to our current state. The Unions and POLITICIANS are not going to voluntarily stop what works for them. The public has to be educated, get involved, and use their strength in numbers against these two identities. There are more total voting taxpayers than union members, and their families. Public needs to get involved and vote to bring things back into balance. Union members get involved. You get the government you deserve !
