My mistake, you are correct. Oversight on my part. My apologies. Number is 196 so 21 short.

So the chief stated 2 months ago that on average there are 45 men per shift . 5 in each of the 9 houses = 45.

45 x 4 platoons = 180. Add the battalion chiefs and dispatch, so shouldn't they still have enough? The point of the argument is that in the way the department is operated it is simply unsustainable.
