Anyone can see what is going on. It's a desperate move from a group of teachers that are feeling, I believe, that they are out of all other options...and they may be right. I don't agree with this tactic, but I find it hard to condemn it in light of the response the teachers have gotten for over two years from the School Committee. As far as admitting that she has knowledge and therefore is responsible for the sick-outs, no Warwick Teachers Union officer is going to admit anything. Would you? I wouldn't.

As far as a solution...there is only one. Both sides must agree to sit and talk. Yell, scream, agree, disagree, it doesn't matter. What does is that both sides TALK to each other.

No restrictions, no topics that are "off limits", just open conversation that is hopefully respectful and MUST BE productive.

I hope that happens soon. Things are getting worse by the day. Darlene Netcoh has stated that the union will meet with the School Committee ANY day, ANY time, ANY where, to discuss ANY related topic. Will the School Committee agree? If they do we should see strong positive progress.

If not, there will be those that say it's all the teachers fault. I won't be one of them.

Happy Autumn teachers.

Happy Autumn everyone.
