There is a huge difference between this plan and Social Security and Medicare, check your pay stub. We pay specific taxes to support these programs, there is no specific tax for this program, so it's coming out of something else...where it's coming from is unknown to me.
BTW, can I get a refund on the money I paid to URI? All I'm asking for is what two years of CCRI cost in the late 80s when I was paying URI instead. Seems fair to me.
