Raising money to make Cedar Hill a better school is all about fun – some of it at the expense of Principal Dr. Frederick Schweizer – as demonstrated Friday afternoon when the top three fund-raisers from each class got to silly string Schweizer following a picture of the entire school with classes wearing their assigned color. The “fun run” event coordinated by Marise DeCosta and Sara Dempsey raised $25,000 that will be used for refillable water stations, playground equipment and other materials. The fun run program that had a science theme and academic component designed by Mind Spark Mystery Lab started on Nov. 14 and ran through the month. A video of the principal stringer can be viewed on the Beacon website and Facebook page. (Warwick Beacon photos)

We are all laughing while our taxes go through the roof and test scores head to the basement.
