Bishop Hendricken celebrated its 60th anniversary and annual homecoming last Friday night during the football team's 28-14 win over rival La Salle. What was already a special evening got even better after the conclusion of the contest, when Hendricken alum and quarterbacks coach Patrick Gill popped the question to longtime girlfriend and current Bay View Academy cheerleading coach Olivia O'Connor during the post-game firework display...to which she said yes. Bay View Academy cheerleading partners with the Hendricken football program, which is how Patrick and Olivia met while competing for the Hawks and Bengals during their high school days. The couple holds up a picture taken when she was a student at Bay View and he was at Hendricken. (Warwick Beacon photos)
