The Warwick Beacon’s Athlete of the Week is Pilgrim field hockey goalie Valerie Landry. The senior goalie came up huge for the Pats in their Division II Quarterfinals win over Cranston, when she finished the day stopping 13 goals, four of which came in overtime, as well as going 4-for-5 in the shootout period.
