I see the pattern. No need to cry over those no-name civilians who died before their time, shed tears instead for the celebrations. What we have here is not “Bright lights” (whatever that was supposed to mean) but a publicity stunt. Media was obviously notified, and we get the feel-good promotional video. Result: embattled public agencies needing max tax increases to continue business as usual get some good press. Kent, who said they “need to partner” to survive, gets some capital as well. Doing this over the dead bodies.
