The article contains a link to a video, containing three statements from West Warwick patrolman #105 (preceded by mood-setting Beacon music):

“We have a lot of close contact with the hospital, day in and day out, and they do a lot for us while we are working throughout the year, and every day, and, you know, since we are on the front lines dealing with this, in the outside, and in-on the field and in the house, houses and on the streets, and stuff like that, they deal with it almost daily, and we have to show our support and solidarity to them, and to show that we’re here for them, and we’re stronger together. Without them we’d all be not doing too well right now. They’re our heroes right now. If we get sick, we’re the ones, we’re gonna look to them for help.”

“We have, right now we have Warwick, East Greenwich, North Kingstown, Coventry, West Greenwich, Situate, West Warwick, State Police, and I believe, Cranston. Cranston’s on its way as well.”

“Well, I mean I saw it through-out the state, and ultimately throughout the country, everyone doing stuff like this. I know Rhode Island’s a small state, we all join together, and you know, especially for something like this, these nurses, doctors, and all medical professionals over there, they really deserve this.”
