Re: Professional Development

We have had years, and years, and years of paid professional development. The result: See RICAS outcomes. And while we're on it, why is it the responsibility of the Warwick taxpayer to fund professional development in the first place? Being current is part of your responsibility as a professional, and that responsibility is owned by the professional. Not the Warwick taxpayer. NEASC says funding is "insufficient" in Warwick? That's rich. It might have some level of credibility if once, just once, some education committee/task force/panel/group said: "Funding is sufficient." It never, ever happens because it's never, ever enough.
