My thoughts exactly. How are the SUBSTANDARD TEACHERS getting screwed? 87 % of the teachers are at top step. 14,000 school districts in the United States and Warwick teachers are in the top 2% for salary and benefits. How are the teachers getting screwed? $13.46 million in raises in this contract. While I agree that there needs to be a hair cut on the administration side, the vast portion of the dollars in the budget are teacher salaries.
Also, one question for Cathy. How many times have you attended the city budget hearings? Be truthful.
