Have you seen the condition of Mickey Stevens lately? It is an embarrassment with the snack bar collapsing on itself, baseball fields too unsafe to play on with dim lighting from the 1980's, most of the tennis courts unusable, and the basketball courts cracked with weeds growing on them.
If you let Parks and Rec handle the schools then everything will be unsafe and neglected just like Mickey Stevens currently is. How about just contracting with a landscaping company and firing all these lazy city employees that don't do their jobs?
