I take a bit of an issue with the spousal health care issue. In most companies today, it is standard. If your spouse has employer provided health insurance, they should be taking advantage of it. It helps to keep costs down for your own health insurance. We all face rate increases with health care. Even before ACA, each year we paid a little more for insurance. I don't think it is asking too much.

I thought from the outset that this wasn't going to go well for the employees. The company can hold out a lot longer than the workers. As for myself and my coworkers/family members, we have all moved on to different stores. I know for sure a handful that won't be going back to S&S for weekly groceries. Lack of customers will mean less of a workforce. It is like shooting yourself in the foot.
