Report Inappropriate Comments

Gun advocates always say that it isn't the guns fault but the person holding the gun. So how do we ensure that the guy holding the gun doesn't harm anyone? Should we be putting in more diligent requirements for owning a gun if it is the owner that is the problem and not the gun?

I can't reconcile the ever growing number of victims against the louder protests of gun owners. People are dying at an alarming pace from men who bring a gun to a public place and start shooting. Other countries with strict gun control laws show us that it is possible to stop this from happening. Why not here?
