The Beacon, teachers, principals and the whole "lousy school system" had nothing to do with this event. It was an event run by students with the help of outside actors, period.
The students understood that they may face disciplinary action for their cutting of class but this is/was handled on an individual basis by each school. Some may have punished students (I don't know) and some may not have (again don't know) been. But don't let the facts get in the way of your uninformed opinion igor, rant away.
