The fact is, we don't know what's "in the heart," because we simply don't have any context for the quote. Is it a story? Is it a (bad) joke? Was it a report on someone else? Was it a sarcastic retort? Is it his own sincere sentiment? We simply don't know from what we've been given. And about that: The person who released this six seconds of video did it in a way calculated to do maximal damage to the school and the man: during the middle of exam week, just when next year's acceptance letters were mailed, etc. It's at least curious, isn't it, that the person who made the video, who presumably has recorded the context, who obviously wished to inflict maximal harm, decided that the context should not be included? Maybe the context turns out to not be so damning as the quote out of context. I don't know. But I refuse to judge a man on the basis of what he said, without knowing the context in which he said it.
