Some other 'stupid' things asked: (Really, stop watching tv as if it is real)

"Why didn't they have a weapon that would take out the engine"? (Police don't carry .50 cal machine guns)

"Why didn't they shoot out the tires?" (Police shoot at bodies, not tires. Bullets ricochet and bounce around. Past lawsuits limit use of deadly force to actually shooting at bodies, not vehicles).

"Why did they fire so many shots?" (10 cops shooting=about 4 rounds each...two separate rounds of shooting, 2 rounds each).

"Why didn't they throw teargas into the cab of the truck?"....Police don't carry tear gas in their cars normally and that requires breaking the window. When a trooper tried to open the door/break the window, the truck lurched back and forth).

"The guy wasn't going anywhere, why not wait him out?". Fair question until he started moving back and forth.

"Why didn't the state police car have a GPS locator in it?" (Expensive. Some departments use them, most don't. Not really relative since they found the car anyway).
