Hello again Thecaptain:

I have seen a few things in my day, including many failed candidates in many communities, and I can tell you that he fake "mayor" is not unique, except, as you suggest, for his complete refusal to do anything but repeat objectively false, self-serving, and misleading information. In nearly all cases, losing candidates learn to refine their messages if they plan to run again, because they understand that a lost election means the voters did not accept their original message.

Not the fake "mayor," though. It's almost as if he thinks mindlessly repeating things will make people somehow accept them eventually. You and I and other commenters have proved, though, that he won't get away with it, no matter how often he tries.

Your new moniker for the fake "mayor" is hilarious. Reminds me of something a wise man once said about a particularly stubborn person: He's got a head like a curbstone. That's the fake "mayor" in a nutshell, don't you think?
