I was at the School Committee meeting Tuesday night. The heated anger from the audience was very apparent.

Bethany Furtado defended herself saying "I have always negotiated in good faith and in the best interest of this district." When she said that the audience was noticeably offended.

I was too.

In my opinion, the way to "negotiate in good faith" "in the best interest of this district" is to make yourself available ANY day, ANY time, ANY where, to discuss ANY topic relevant to the teachers contract. You know, like the teachers union president Darlene Netcoh has always done. The School Committee has a list of topics that they REFUSE to talk about that is almost as long as the list of topics that they ARE willing to talk about. Folks; that's not "negotiating in good faith" "in the best interest of this district"! Is it?

That's why 80,000 Warwick Taxpayers, that are paying the tab, are overwhelmingly supporting the WARWICK TEACHERS!

Happy Autumn Warwick teachers.

Happy Autumn everyone.
