Rick, the reason you're not obligated to any special interests is because you LOST (fact). Usually the losing candidates aren't obligated to any special interest because...they are losing candidates (fact). You ran for 700 days, had over $30,000 and signs littering our good city (facts). Voters took a hard pass (fact). If you were so influential in this budget why is it I haven't heard your name uttered by any single council person?
It takes a special kind of delusion to continually talk to voters as if you represent them. The same kind of delusion that would even let you think of calling yourself the taxpayers mayor. Your campaign of pandering and talking points failed and the voters saw through it.
