The Westbay CAP Marketplace food pantry, located on Buttonwoods Ave. in Warwick is gratefully accepting supermarket gift cards as donations for the upcoming Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. The Marketplace is also seeking donations of tuna fish, hardy soups and peanut butter as well as shelf storable gluten-free and diabetic friendly foods.
The Marketplace does not have enough cold storage space to keep large amounts of poultry food safe such as fresh or frozen turkeys.
On a monthly basis, the Marketplace serves over 1,200 families in the Kent County area. Donations of any kind are appreciated.

To make an application to receive supplemental food during the holiday season, please call 732-4660 ext. 342. Those families who receive food from the Marketplace on a regular basis will gain preference through the limited holiday food program.
