Wendell M. “Swede” Anderson, age 73, of Adams Street, Warwick, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, June 10, 2018. He was the husband of Margaret J. (Flynn) Anderson.
Born in Providence, the son of the late Per E. and Mary (Kee) Anderson, he lived in Warwick for 48 years. Swede was a self-employed carpenter and member of Carpenters Union Local # 94. He enjoyed boating and fishing.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters and two sons: Mary T. LaFontaine of Warwick, John A. Anderson of Johnston, Paul W. Anderson of Warwick, and Christine M. Anderson of Warwick; a sister, Emily Hennessey of Burlington, VT; and his grandchildren.
His funeral services will be private.
