Voting for Picozzi

To the Editor,

Well, it took more than two years and it took a member of the 5th Ward Democrat committee to do it, but we finally have read the truth about the current administration in City Hall. George Shuster ’s recent letter lays out the shortcomings of Mayor Solomon: a fabricated financial crisis, a petty spat with the Warwick Center for the Arts because a former Board member had supported Solomon ’s opponent, a crumbling lighthouse in Conimicut, a reversal on beach fees, and a dead landscaping project in Apponaug.

Warwick cannot afford another two years of petty political games. When council members have to fill in potholes themselves, it is time to change the leadership. That time is now. Frank Picozzi has shown that he can do the job without being petty or political. I am happy to join Mr. Shuster in voting for Frank Picozzi.

John Falkowski

Republican candidate Ward 3
