Yes, there were a herd of goats at the East Greenwich Animal Protection League’s “The Heart of RI Animal Rescue League” this past Saturday. Laurel Hill, Microfarm and their “Herd of Hope,” came to “goatscape,” the area where the dogs walk. They munched on brush, poison ivy and vines until their bellies were full. It is an eco-friendly way to clear land and is also fun to watch. If you’d like to hire the goats to clear your property contact Microfarm at 601-4538 for more information.
