Last year the Gaspee Days Committee was forced to cancel the parade, this year they’re going ahead and planning one for June 12th. Their challenge is raising $35,000 to make it happen.
Time is short – committing bands, fife and drum corps
even painting the road stripe needs to be attended to ASAP.
The committee has a GoFundMe, that’s a help,
but we would also like to help with this community effort.
Subscribe to the Cranston Herald or Warwick Beacon for
$39.00 annually and we will donate $20.00 from each new subscription to the Gaspee Days Parade Fund.
