To the Editor:
I first met Councilwoman Donna Travis over fifteen years ago through the Greater Warwick Lions
Club while I was still a teenager. At the time I saw her as a superhero, because she spent an exceedingly large amount of time helping the community for no other reason than it was the right thing to do.
After all these years – several of them spent working together on the Council – I realize my original assessment of Councilwoman Travis fell short. I have seen firsthand the level of effort she invests in helping our community, publicly and privately, by devoting nearly every waking hour to Warwick. For some elected officials, the longer they hold their position the less they care for others. Not Councilwoman Travis. Her unwavering support, tireless efforts, and dedicated heart are stamped into the soul of Warwick. Please vote to reelect Councilwoman Donna Travis.
Anthony Sinapi
Councilman Ward 8

Both of them, the writer and the subject of this article need to be shown the door. Travis has been in for over a quarter of a century, and Sinapi only does what Solomon tells him to.
