Scott P. Larney, 49, of Stacey Lane, Hopkinton, passed away on Saturday afternoon, August 25, 2018 at Westerly Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Gina M. (Ricci) Larney of Hopkinton
Mr. Larney was born in Warwick, RI on May 14, 1969, the son of Kenneth J. Larney of Warwick, RI and the late Carol E. (Fontaine) Larney. Scott was an auto body mechanic for many years at Carpenter's Auto Body and worked at Davis Standard. Scott loved spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and family. He enjoyed being with his dogs (Penny, Rhondo, Boots and Suzy), playing video games, riding his motorcycle, fishing and hunting, taking long hikes, working on cars and custom painting - he was always the perfectionist. Scott was always the life of a party and would constantly make you laugh and feel loved.
He is also survived by his three children: Michael Coates (Candace) of Ashaway R.I., Alexus Larney (Ian) and Austin Larney of Hopkinton R.I. He is survived by his father Kenneth J. Larney Sr and three siblings: Kenneth Larney Jr. (Sheila) of Coventry R.I., Donna Gautieri (Michael) of Warwick R.I., Brad Larney (Melissa) of Warwick R.I., his two grandchildren Davian Barbery and Rylan Mazzarelli-Coates, as well as many nieces and nephews.
