The City should make disaster funds available to the residents and especially the businesses on Sandy Lane that are being harmed by this issue. If a resident hits a pothole in Warwick they come to the City Council and receive funds to make themselves whole. The exact same principle should apply here. City Council and Mayor Solomon please be advised.
Happy St Patricks everyone.

Disaster funds? Where would they come from? Again, another ridiculous comment.

The businesses around Apponaug had to survive without getting money from the city. Sandy Lane will as well.

Dear Cat,
Several of the businesses around the Apponaug Circle didn't survive. They should receive some sort of assistance too. They, like the homes and businesses on Sandy Lane paid taxes for services they didn't receive. That isn't fair in my opinion. Is it fair in yours?
Happy St. Patricks Cat.

That is the nature of being a small business owner. Is it fair? No. But it is the reality of the situation. If a business is thriving then it will continue to thrive despite a traffic pattern. Funny how the Burger King closed but the liquor store didn't - Priorities! I do not want the city digging any further into my pocket than they already are because at this point there is only lint.
