Alyson Tierney, a recent graduate of Cranston West High School, finds a way to keep cool during her summer job at a New England Lemonade truck at Hoxsie Four Corners. With the temperature clocking in at 90 degrees, shade was in high demand. Alyson currently works three jobs for the summer; in the fall, she plans to double major in chemistry and psychology at CCRI before transferring to URI. Her long-range goal is to be a doctor. In addition to her studies, she also enjoys reading self-help books. Her choice this particular day was a book on positivity – a good choice given the temperature. (Warwick Beacon photo)
