As restoration to the burned out Woodbury Union Church in the center of Conimicut Village nears completion, the 1,000-pound fiberglass steeple manufactured out of state arrived by trailer truck Monday evening and was lifted by crane into place Tuesday morning. Parishioner Gary Christensen, who is overseeing the project, said Wednesday the restoration is expected to be complete by the end of July. A handicapped lift remains to be installed, he said.
