The Kent County YMCA received a helping hand from the Rotary Club of Warwick last Thursday when they split the proceeds of the $7,700 raised at the club’s 2019 Turkey Trot held Thanksgiving Day at City Park. Organized by club member Tom Sanford, funds from the event are split with a local nonprofit, with the balance going into the club’s charitable fund. The donation to the Y will be used for summer camp scholarships.
