The remaining charred timbers were lifted Thursday from Woodbury Union Church in Conimicut in preparation of a new roof and the restoration of the church that was severely damaged in a Thanksgiving eve fire last year. Restoration of the church is expected to be completed by late next spring. Recording the event is Lincoln Smith, who has been instrumental in raising funds to rebuild the church.
