On New Year’s Day, members of the Rhode Island Yacht Club gathered to celebrate the club’s 145th installation ceremony. David Tessitore, the club’s 91st commodore, was sworn in for another year alongside the slate of 2020 officers and directors. Cranston Mayor Allan Fung, Warwick Mayor Joe Solomon and state Rep. Joe McNamara were on hand to recognize the club and take part in the festivities, which included a champagne toast to the new year.
