The Central Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce along with other chambers and trade associations are distributing personal protection equipment including masks, certificates to acquire disinfectant and hand sanitizers to businesses. The PPE is provided by the governor's office and Rhode Island Commerce. Working from the Washington Trust Center next to chamber offices in Apponaug, volunteer Stone Freeman rallied a group of his college friends to distribute more than 25,000 masks and other PPE to 250 businesses registered for the program. Here, Freeman keeps a tally as members of the crew including Hannah Tremblay, Tyler Krusz and Adam Brice fill bags for each of the companies. The bags were distributed on Wednesday.
