It was a spring feeling, made all the more lively with the music of the Pilgrim Four, as Rose Jones, director of the Division of Elderly Affairs, visited the Pilgrim Senior Center on May 1 to mark the beginning of Older Americans Month in Rhode Island. The theme for the month, “Connect, create, contribute,” encourages older adults and their communities to connect with friends, family and local services and resources; create through activities that promote learning, health and personal enrichment and contribute time, talent and life experience to benefit others.
