Warwick residents were among the record-setting 1,000 bikers plus that took in Saturday’s 20th Annual Special Olympics Rhode Island Motorcycle Run that began in Johnston at the former Grieco Collision Center on Route 44 and made the trek to URI’s Kingston campus for the annual Summer Games. Once completed, the annual run – which was founded by former Johnston Police Patrolman Phi Viens – raised upwards of a record $30,000 that’s still growing and doesn’t include credit card receipts.
