Newest firefighter

According to the Warwick Fire Department, when Toys R Us closed its store on East Avenue the company inquired of the Lego Group what they should do with the life-size Lego firefighter they had on display that required 170 hours and 21,367 pieces to build. When the company learned Lego didn’t want the firefighter returned, they offered it to Warwick. That seems only appropriate to Ward 8 Councilman Joseph Gallucci, pictured here, as the toy store was in his ward. The firefighter is on display in the lower lobby of Station One in Apponaug. Oh Captain, your obsession is unreal. Stop by any fire station. We will let you spray water, blow the horn sit in the truck.... All things you and your fellow 3 year olds like to do....
