Fire on Warwick Avenue

The Warwick Fire Department responded to a fire at 715 Warwick Avenue (C&L Auto Sales) at 8:40 a.m. on Wednesday morning, which was called in by an off-duty firefighter who saw smoke coming from the property. Crews were able to contain the fire with "relatively minor" damage to the building, according to Fire Chief Peter McMichael. McMichael also said that, per departmental policy, the fire is now under investigation by the fire and police departments, as nobody was in the building at the time of the fire.
