Conversion of the former Buttonwoods Community Center, which the former administration closed and planned to sell, into municipal offices that are now in the former Greene School is close to complete. Furniture and office partitions have come from Citizens Bank when they relocated Warwick operations to the bank’s campus in Johnston. The building will also have space for senior card clubs that were relocated to the Pilgrim Senior Center when Buttonwoods closed because of a leaking roof and an aging heating and cooling system.
